Estimated cabinetry cost £30,000 to £35,000 ex VAT
When extending a property you have a clean slate to work with. Our clients wanted a classic kitchen with a modern feel to sit in the heart of this new rear extension. Overlooking acres of fields it was important to keep the kitchen light and airy whilst retaining a welcoming feeling. Contrasting colours by Zoffany created a little drama with Bone Black on the island and whilst the outer cabinets remain calm in the colour Snow. Satin Nickel bar handles on simple clean fronted drawers gives an elegant clean look to a traditional cockbead Shaker style kitchen that seamlessly brings the whole look together.
Our client wanted a pantry so a stud wall was built to create a walk-in chef’s pantry for additional storage for all dry goods. With tall floor to ceiling open T&G backed shelving units painted in Bone Black to link to the island bringing the whole colour palette together.
The large island with ample seating for six also has a small prep sink and Quooker boiling tap at the far end which offers the perfect prep space that doesn’t encroach on the more informal dining space. With an additional dining table and cosy lounge area this whole space comes together incredibly well for entertaining too.
