Our client wanted to create a family kitchen with plenty of space for a growing family. An island worked well with seating for 4 for informal meals but it was important to incorporate a dining table for more formal meals and entertaining. Luckily opening up two rooms into one large open planned space gave us the freedom to give our clients a kitchen that will work seamlessly whilst entertaining and for all the needs of a growing family.
Understanding that whilst we must design a kitchen with functionality we wanted to give our clients an area of grown-up sophistication. We added a drinks cabinet at the dining room end matching the kitchen cabinetry which ties the two areas together and works so well when entertaining. We were able to retain a cosy intimate space with full on functionality and by adding bespoke glass to the back panel and oak framed glass shelves this drinks cabinet is a real conversation piece.
The kitchen itself has two single ovens to maximise cooking options, an induction hob, bespoke chimney breast, integrated dishwasher and a large freestanding fridge freezer. A crockery unit close to the table makes setting up the table easy along with storage in the island for cutlery and place settings.
Our Holbourne range of in-frame bespoke Shaker cabinetry really complements this Victorian Villa. This classic design sits beautifully within the properties architecture.
